APPLYING FOR SKILLED OR WELDING DIVISION

Once you submit your application, we take care of the details. Stand-By adds your resume to our system, extracting your job history and relevant information. No more tedious form-filling – we've got it covered. But we'll still ask you to review and add any extra details that could make a real difference in landing that dream job.

Shortly after, our recruiters interview you. We want to understand your skills and job history to match you with the diverse range of positions we have available.

If you're a match for what our customers are looking for, we'll submit your application for their review. The timeline for this step can vary based on their HR department's workload, but we encourage you to stay in touch with us. Regular follow-ups will keep you informed and keep you on our radar.

Feel free to call in at least once a week to stay connected with our recruiters. It's important – it keeps you top of mind and ensures smooth communication throughout the process.

If the customer expresses interest, we'll schedule an onsite interview with you and them. Once the job offer is on the table and you accept, we'll work together to find a start date that suits you and the customer.

While you're on Stand-By’s payroll, enjoy a range of benefits, including weekly pay, a pay card, cash advances, and comprehensive insurance coverage – Health, Dental, Vision, and Short-Term Disability Insurance. We also offer Holiday pay and Vacation pay once you meet the qualifications.

Remember, we pay a week behind, so if you work this week, you'll receive your payment the following Thursday.

And here's a heads-up: Some positions may require background and drug tests.
Welders, a welding test will also be part of the process. -

Now, let's talk about our quick and straightforward application process:

Head to our Human Resources Department at 1530 E. 1st St., Tulsa.

We will set you up on our kiosk, where you'll enter minimal information like your address, contact details, and agree to our terms and conditions, you will be required to bring your original ID’s in to complete your paperwork.

Once your paperwork is done, we'll issue you a Stand-By work card. Bring this card with you each day when you come in to work and hand it to the dispatcher.

When an assignment becomes available our dispatch will explain the job details, hours, and ask if you are interested in it.

You can drive to the assignment if you have a car, or we can provide transportation.

At the end of your shift, we'll pay you for the hours worked and push the money straight to your pay card, which you receive during the interview process.

Our Day Labor assignments aren't first come, first serve. Employees with repeat tickets or experience at specific companies may get priority.
